Corrections policy
Factual errors should be fixed in public, not hidden.
Last updated: August 20, 2026
How to request a correction
Use the contact form. Include the page URL, the sentence you believe is wrong, and a primary source if you have one (DailyMed setid, FDA page, MedlinePlus URL). We cannot give personal medical advice in the ticket reply.
What happens next
The editorial team reviews the claim against current primary documents. If we confirm an error, we change the page, update the last-updated date when the change is substantive, and keep a brief note here only when the error could have affected safety understanding for many readers.
What is not a “correction”
Disagreement with a clinician’s off-label plan, requests to add a personal dose, or requests to link to a pharmacy are not corrections. Those are outside this site’s purpose.
Unsubstantiated material
If we cannot verify a medical statement, we remove or rewrite it rather than leaving a confident unsourced claim.
